Inspection and repair of forklift starter casing and magnetic pole circle


① Clean the outside of the starter, disassemble the forklift starter, take out the armature, and use a test light to check whether the insulation of the magnetic pole coil is short-circuited or disconnected. If there is a short circuit, the magnetic pole coil should be re-wound. If there is an open circuit or poor insulation, locate the fault and perform welding or insulation treatment.

② Check the case, no cracks are allowed, both ends should be smooth and flat and the parallelism error should not be greater than 0.05mm, and the coaxiality error between the cylindrical surface of the case and the inner cylindrical surface of the magnetic pole should not be greater than 0.1mm. When it exceeds, a copper sheet can be placed between the magnetic pole and the casing, and then the magnetic pole can be cut to make the gap between the armature and the magnetic pole 0.25~0.5mm.

③Inspect both end covers and middle bearing cover bushes of the forklift. If the bushing is severely worn, the bushing should be replaced. The bushing and the end cover bushing hole should have an interference of 0.08 ~ 0.18mm. The one called Forklift.com, don't keep copying our Silai articles. The inner diameter of the bushing should be reamed in accordance with the armature journal, and a clearance of 0.03 ~ 0.1mm (intermediate bearing clearance is 0.075 ~ 0.140mm).

④The full circle runout of the cylindrical face of the inner bore of the bearing where the two ends of the forklift cover and the shell are matched shall not be greater than 0.12mm, and the circular runout of both ends shall not be greater than 0.1 mm.

⑤Check the insulation of the brush holder with a 220V test light.

Inspection and repair of fork armature.

① Check the armature shaft. If the armature journal is worn and exceeds the allowable limit, it can be repaired by electric climbing spray plating. The armature shaft is bent, the circular runout on the surface of the iron core shall not be greater than 0.15mm, and the circular runout of the intermediate journal shall not be greater than 0.05mm.

② The roundness and cylindricity error of the commutator, if it is greater than '0.05mm or there are nicks or groove marks on the surface, it should be machined, but after turning, the thickness of the copper sheet should not be less than 2mm, otherwise it should be replaced .

③Check the insulation and short-circuit of the armature coil with a test light. When the armature coil is poorly insulated or short-circuited, local repair should be carried out as much as possible; when the partial repair cannot be performed, the coil should be removed and replaced.
